The Maximum Fighting Championship is one of the top mixed martial arts organizations in the world and Canada’s No. 1 fight promotion which has garnered a reputation of putting on first-class events that create an electric atmosphere in any venue.As a testament to the production of our shows and the loyal fan base the organization has developed, the MFC holds the distinction of selling out 18 straight shows, and continually have packed houses wherever shows are hold. The MFC was Canada’s first fully sanctioned mixed martial arts promotion outside of Quebec and boasts a steady growth since its inception in 2000 with one of the most-prominent lineages in the history of mixed martial arts sports organizations.The MFC’s talented roster of fighters has led the organization to being recognized as one of the elite promotions in North America. The current roster features a strong blend of fighters from across the United States, Canada, Brazil, and many other nations. In 2012, the MFC will continue to branch out in its acquisition of new talent including up-and-coming fighters from across Europe and Asia.Our organization is also extremely proud of our athletes like reigning light-heavyweight champion Ryan "The Big Deal" Jimmo, welterweight sensation Dhiego "Maluco" Lima, and fan favorites Dwayne "D-Bomb" Lewis, Brian "The Bandit" Cobb, David "The Headhunter" Heath, Curtis "The Demon" Demarce, Richie "Hell Boy" Whitson, Andreas "The Sweet Swede" Spang, plus many more rising stars.Recently, the MFC extended its broadcast partnership with HDNet for five years, meaning all MFC events will be carried live on the premium cable channel through 2016. HDNet was created by world-renowned entrepreneur Mark Cuban, owner of the NBA’s Dallas Mavericks. The broadcast deal with HDNet has made the MFC the only Canadian-based organization that airs its shows live throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico.Since its debut on HDNet in 2008, MFC has produced the first live television broadcast of MMA in the Province of Ontario and crowned six MFC world champions in three different weight classes.The Maximum Fighting Championship’s events and fighters have never received more exposure than now and the spotlight will only get brighter in the future as we continually strive for excellence in all facets of the business.
